Growing media must allow plants to develop healthily all the way from the potting area to the living room. The correct acidity or alkalinity (pH) in the root environment plays a key role in this. Extra attention needs to be paid to this aspect when changes are made to substrate recipes or feeding schedules. During production too, it pays to keep tabs on the pH and adjust it in good time if necessary.
